The Rotary Club of Coral Springs has a new president.
Jean Regalado was recognized as the Club’s new leader, along with incoming directors, during a community social event at Runyon’s on the evening of July 30. Other non-profit organizations, such as SOS Children’s Village, Make Our Schools Safe, and Food for the Poor, also participated in the event to discuss opportunities for helping others.
Regalado, a bookkeeper, will serve for one year and is looking forward to his new role. “I want to add more members and have a bigger impact on the community,” he said.
“Service Before Self” is an essential goal for Regalado and other Rotary members. He joined because the Club offered him an opportunity to make a positive difference in the community, meet new friends, and network. As he completed the leadership program, Regalado saw the many positive things that Rotary is doing throughout the world.
On August 27 at 5:30 p.m., the Club will host another community social at Runyon’s at 9810 West Sample Road. Those who want to attend should RSVP to Sal Golfo at 201-925-2533 or sgolfo1957@gmail.com.
