While mentioning what he misses most about his hometown of Coral Springs, Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Gary Joseph is even more grateful to contribute and serve his country.
Currently serving on his first deployment in the U.S. Navy, he is assigned to the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford. Throughout his experience, he said he misses his family, friends, and his favorite Hawaiian pizza from Annie’s.
The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group (GRFCSG) is deployed in the Atlantic Ocean, conducting training and operations alongside NATO Allies, fulfilling the U.S. Navy’s commitment to a peaceful, stable, and conflict-free Atlantic region.
A 2019 Coral Glades High School graduate, his mother and three brothers reside in Coral Springs.
“I can’t wait to return home around Christmas and New Year’s, to reconnect with my family and friends and visit Three Friends Park to watch the sunset on the hill,” said Joseph.
He hopes to work at the White House as a technician following his service in the U.S. Navy.
