Sawgrass Springs Middle School {BCPS}
Incoming sixth-graders and their families from Sawgrass Springs Middle School are invited to an orientation event designed to prepare students for the upcoming school year.
Sawgrass Springs Middle School’s annual Gator Gathering will take place on Thursday, August 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the school’s campus located at 12500 West Sample Road.
The event has been organized to welcome new students and provide them with an early opportunity to pick up their class schedules, receive student ID badges, join the school’s PTA, and meet members of the administration.
Families will also be able to tour the campus, learn about the after-care program, check bus and transportation schedules, and get information on cafeteria procedures and student clubs.
The 2025–2026 school year at Sawgrass Springs officially begins on Monday, August 11. Daily school hours will run from 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Parents are reminded that students must have up-to-date immunizations to attend school, including required shots for Hepatitis B and Varicella.
Additionally, seventh and eighth-grade students are expected to have their T.D. Booster and Tdap vaccinations completed.
For more information, families can contact the school directly or visit the official school website.
