The Nutcracker returns to Coral Springs.
By Ryan Yousefi
A holiday tradition is returning to the Coral Springs Arts Center.
In the name of the Christmas season, the Coral Springs Arts Center will welcome back the enchanting world of “The Nutcracker,” a timeless ballet, for two days of shows on December 15 and 16.
Presented by the International Ballet Company, ‘The Nutcracker’ features a cast of over 130 members that will take the wintery stage to recreate the holiday classic the production has brought to Coral Springs for the last 12 years.
“The Nutcracker” features the whimsical tale of Clara, a young girl who receives a prince-shaped nutcracker for Christmas. The ballet unfolds at night when Clara discovers that her toys, including the Nutcracker, have come to life and are engaged in a battle against an army of mice.
Tickets for the show are $28 per person and can be purchased here while seats remain.
Contact Mary Grosch at (954) 224-0024 for more information about the show.
