Veranda Kitchen and Bar is set to bring more flavor to The Walk
Veranda will be opening at 2864 North University Drive. It is currently under construction at the site formerly occupied by the Yellow Yolk. The opening is projected to be at the end of the summer, although an exact date has not been set yet.
The owner is Sonka Nguyen, who also owns the original restaurant in Westbrook, Maine.
According to Gillian Johnson, Amera’s marketing director for The Walk, Veranda Kitchen will feature Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
“We are excited for the Veranda Kitchen and Bar to open at The Walk,” said Johnson. “Their cuisine will offer greater diversity to the Coral Springs dining scene. It’s perfect for the Coral Springs community and lifestyle they like to enjoy.
She added the location is in the courtyard and will have outdoor seating in front of the fountain.
The Walk is located in the heart of Coral Springs at 2600-2930 N. University Drive. Businesses range from large national stores like Barnes and Noble and Trader Joe’s to local restaurants like Incontro Italian Cuisine and Steakhouse and Hellenic Republic.
According to Johnson, Coral Springs’s energetic atmosphere, beautiful landscape, and streetscape make it a popular pedestrian destination.
