
Coral Springs Middle School.
There were three middle school teams competing in the MSAA Championship on Monday in Sunrise at Markham Park.
Coral Springs Middle School came in fifth place as a team, with Brayden Basso placing 25th overall. Jaiden Ross finished with nearly an identical time and was one spot back, while Thomas Smith came in 39th. Joseph Scalia, Aiden Coon, Colin Williams, Nicholas Indeglia, and Damian Diedrick all ran.
The girls’ team placed sixth, with Addison Sahlin coming in seventh overall. Zenda Ford placed 17th, followed by Lauren Simbert, Jodie Choquette, Brynnlee Goodman, Abigail Leung, and Alyssa Ribeiro.
Ramblewood Middle School had the boys’ team place sixth and had Tyler Wright come in 11th individually. Mason Weekes was next to finish with Jimmy Denis, Camden Bryant, Mason Flores, Nicolas Ballerino, Samuel Hall, Tyshawn Robles, and Mateo Ballerino all competing.
The girls’ team came in 12th place, with Nkemakolam Chijioke and Aliah Wan coming in the top 28, and Jaliyah Sucarichi, Coffey Gabrielle, and Barr-Crawford Audriana all running.
Forest Glen Middle School finished 12th with Ayden Edmond, Mason Hernandez, Emmitt Garbarino, Daniel Gonzalez, Brandon Sears, and Chris Cassidy. The girls came in 13th with Alina Alam, Allyssa Sears, Scarlette Tonton, Kylie Dunkley, Sloan Whitworth, Abigail Balzanti, Camila Rodriguez, and Grace Rios.
