Coral Springs Back to Nature program offers kids and adults a chance to learn more about wildlife, plant species, and conservation efforts while visiting city parks and preserves.
The program runs on the second Saturday of November, January, and March. The next meeting is on Saturday, January 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital.
Open to all ages and free to attend, the program has limited space and includes two groups per date, with the first group tour starting at 10:15 a.m. and the second at 10:25 a.m. Each tour lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Learn more and register for the program here.
At the Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital, participants will get an up-close experience with a variety of native and nonnative animals, and learn about local pollinator species, why they are important, and how the public can protect them.
Sawgrass Nature Center is located at 3000 Sportsplex Dr.
