The Chabad Jewish Center invites the community to celebrate Purim with two family-friendly, exciting events.
The first event, the Family Hamantash Bake, takes place on Wednesday, March 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Chabad Jewish Center at 11325 West Atlantic Blvd. The interactive baking session will allow children and parents to mix, shape, and fill their own traditional hamantashen to take home and share.
The Family Hamantash Bake event is open to all, with a $10 fee per child, while Hebrew School students can attend for free.
Registration is required. Click here to RSVP.
The celebration continues on Friday, March 14, at 5:30 p.m., when the Chabad Jewish Center becomes a grand palace for “Purim in the Palace.” The royal-themed celebration will feature a three-course Shabbat dinner, a murder mystery experience for adults, competitive games, and court entertainment for children.
Attendees will also be able to fulfill the four mitzvot of Purim, which include hearing the Megillah, giving gifts to friends, donating to those in need, and enjoying a classic Purim meal.
Admission for the event is $40 per adult and $30 per child, with a co-sponsorship option available for $360.
Those interested in attending can register here.
