Coral Springs High School continues to strengthen its athletic department, announcing the hiring of Adrian Strawbridge as the school’s new head cheerleading coach.
Strawbridge will lead both the football and competitive cheerleading programs, having previously served on the coaching staff at Monarch High School.
“Her passion for developing leaders, building champions, and pursuing excellence makes her a perfect fit for Colts Nation,” Principal Dwayne Dixon said.
Strawbridge takes over for Amanda Mortimer following a successful 2026 campaign. The Colts placed third at the district championships before finishing fourth at regionals to earn a berth in the State Championships.
Coral Springs has enjoyed a tradition of success in competitive cheerleading, winning two state championships in program history. The Colts have also captured two regional championships, five district titles, were crowned 2021 UCA Regional Champions, and earned a runner-up finish at the 2017 NHSCC.
