Christa Reese is a leader on the flag football field and in the classroom.
A senior at Coral Glades High School, she has the highest grade point average in her class (5.3), has played on the girls’ soccer team, and now plays receiver on the football team.
Reese plans to attend Florida State University next year and wants to become a veterinarian. “I enjoy math and have reached Calculus 2. I like English and am a member of the National Technical Honor Society and the Student Law Association,” said Reese.
The Coral Glades flag football team is strong but will face stronger competition than last year, when it posted a 13-1 record.
“We have a very competitive district, and we will be facing strong teams like Marjory Stoneman Douglas and Boyd Anderson. Most of last year’s players have returned,” said coach Ryan Magnuson.
Leading players include Noel Thomas, who plays quarterback and wide receiver, and Madison Watts, who plays running back and cornerback. She has a 4.04 GPA.
