Coral Springs’ Alessandra Poole Helps 11U Wolverines Capture USSSA All-American Games Championship

Coral Springs resident Alessandra Poole capped off an impressive summer by helping the 11-and-under age division Wolverines win the championship at the 2026 USSSA Fastpitch All-American Games with a perfect 7-0 record at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera.

“It definitely brought my confidence up,” Poole said. “It showed me that I can compete at a high level, even with a team I don’t play with normally.”

Poole earned her spot at the event after trying out in May in Pembroke Pines. She was officially selected in June as one of approximately 1,500 players, chosen from thousands of athletes nationwide, to compete in the USSSA Fastpitch All-American Games, which showcase many of the country’s top softball players ages 8 to 14.

The 11U Wolverines entered the championship game undefeated at 6-0 before completing their perfect tournament run with a victory to claim the All-American Games title. Poole played a key role throughout the event, finishing third in the 11U division in hits.

The championship was made even more memorable when Poole celebrated the victory alongside her pitching coaches and local Division I softball players Sierra Bilinski and Ally Muraskin, who traveled to Viera to support her during the title game.

Poole began playing softball at age 8 in the Coral Springs Softball League before transitioning to travel softball a year later with the Coral Springs Panthers. She later played for Boca Impact and now competes with Dragons Elite.

Although her current school, Imagine School at Broward, does not offer middle school softball, Poole also excels in volleyball. She helped her team post a 14-2 record last season.

Looking ahead, Poole hopes to continue developing with Dragons Elite before achieving another goal of playing varsity softball at Marjory Stoneman Douglas. She ultimately hopes to play collegiate softball at Florida Atlantic University, UCLA or Texas Tech.
