Coral Springs Charter Cheerleading team officially finished third in the State Championship on Saturday at the University of Florida at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
After coming in first place in both the BCAA and Regional Championship, the Panthers automatically qualified for the final in the Small Co-Ed Division. CSC missed first place by one point and second by .2 points.
“They pulled off their best performance of the season and improved our regional score by 9.2 points,” said Head Coach McKenzie Palumbo, “It was an honor to lead this team. and to my seniors leaving, this performance was the perfect way to say goodbye to this team.”
This was also the final competition for seniors Alana Browne, Juliana Browne, Sydney Manning, Erika Burst, Jessica Camacho, Mikayla Whitney, and Riley Whitman.
Cameron Broeckelmann, Juliana Browne, Lili Conticello, Kyeran McKenzie, Peyton Moser, Alexis Newland, Kaitlyn O’Neil, Grace Powell, Jordan Sawyer, Riley Spran, Kaitlyn Stewart, Izzy Trejo, Lindsay Whitman, Addison Whitney are all set to come back next year for the Panthers.
