Long Island Bagel Cafe is bringing hand-rolled New York-style bagels, deli sandwiches, smoked fish, and breakfast classics to Coral Springs.
A longtime New York favorite known for its authentic hand-rolled bagels and oversized deli sandwiches, Long Island Bagel Cafe is preparing to open a new location in Coral Springs in the coming days.
The new restaurant will take over the former Hurricane Grill & Wings space. The shop brings classic New York-style bagel shop culture, complete with fresh bagels, smoked fish, cream cheese spreads, breakfast platters, coffee, and stacked deli sandwiches.
The family-owned franchise has built a loyal following with its traditional bagel-making style and old-school breakfast experience. Long Island Bagel Cafe currently operates eight locations throughout New York and recently expanded into Florida with its first Sunshine State location opening in Boca Raton last September.
In addition to its signature hand-rolled bagels, the cafe offers a full lineup of coffee shop favorites, breakfast sandwiches, deli classics, and brunch and lunch options.
The timing of the arrival of Long Island Bael Cafe could prove ideal for local bagel lovers, as Family Bagels of Long Island recently announced it has closed its Coral Springs location at 5906 Coral Ridge Drive.
The restaurant, formerly known as Westside Bagels, initially shut down in 2019 following the unexpected death of owner Geoffrey Lichtman before later reopening under new ownership by Long Island native Neal Schatt and South Florida business partner Steve Corn.
