Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Rescue {Aiden Palmer}
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and injured in Coral Springs on Wednesday night, police said.
The person was rushed to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately available on Thursday.
The crash happened around 7:46 p.m. near the intersection of University Drive and Westview Drive, leading to the closure of all southbound lanes at the intersection, according to Coral Springs Police. The lanes were later reopened.
