KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot is the latest restaurant to open in Coral Springs.
The restaurant at 9120 Wiles Road opened to the public on April 1. It offers a large buffet of hot food and another buffet of raw food that customers can take to their tables and barbecue on their own with the help of a staff member.
“I have lived in Coral Springs for 20 years, and I believe this is a good market to open a restaurant,” said Hugo Jiang, the owner. “I am looking forward to serving customers here.”
The KPOT concept offers a unique, hands-on, all-you-can-eat experience that combines an Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors. It caters to food adventurers and social eaters. According to the KPOT website, individuals can taste spices and seasonings worldwide while enjoying the community.
According to Jiang, the new restaurant offers a pleasant, upbeat family environment for groups wanting lunch and dinner. It also has a full bar and a nightclub atmosphere.
KPOT draws on a rich history. Korean BBQ is deeply rooted in the culinary tradition of grilling meat over an open flame. The tabletop grill has become a popular dining experience, where guests grill various meats and vegetables at the table, according to their website.
Hot Pot also has a long history in Asia. It offers a communal dining experience where friends and family gather around a warm pot of broth, cooking and sharing a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and noodles, according to their website.
