The Cook and the Cork, a standout Coral Springs restaurant, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with an all-you-can-eat barbecue party featuring live music.
The beloved eatery at 9890 West Sample Rd. will host the down-home BBQ bash on Sunday, April 6 in its parking lot from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Food is $50 for adults and $20 for kids ages six to 12. Costs for beverages and tax are additional.
Attendees can chow down on all-you-can eat barbecue brisket, pork, and chicken along with veggies, baked beans, collard greens, coleslaw, corn on the cob, cornbread, and sweets, plus drinks like “cowboy cocktails,” beer, and the restaurant’s award-winning wine selection.
There will also be live music by the band Rough Shot.
Proceeds from the party benefit culinary scholarships at the Culinary Institute of America, organizers said.
“Thanks to you, our amazing, loyal customers, we’ve been open for 10 successful years,” reads the invitation from the restaurant, which is co-owned by Dena Lowell Blauschild and her husband Keith. “We hope you can come help celebrate, and support kids who want to pursue a culinary education at the same time.”
The event is rain or shine, and tickets are refundable up to seven days before the party. Stetson hats are optional.
Tickets can be purchased at thecookandthecork.com.
The Cook and the Cork has received numerous awards, including a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and a Distinguished Restaurants of North America Award.
