A pair of standout baseball players from Coral Springs had the opportunity to showcase their talents on one of the state’s biggest stages, competing in the FACA All-Star Game at Stetson University.
Easton Viveros, a Florida International University signee, capped off a remarkable high school career that began at Deerfield Beach High School before finishing at Coral Springs Charter. Viveros batted .408 during his time with the Panthers and belted 12 career home runs, including nine during his junior season. He also excelled on the mound, posting a 7-2 record while helping Coral Springs Charter advance to the District Final and earn a berth in the regional playoffs. With Deerfield Beach High School, he hit .408 with 12 home runs and 60 RBIs across three seasons.
Joining him was Coral Springs High School standout Ryan Guthrie, who recently signed with South Florida State College. Guthrie put together an outstanding senior campaign, leading the Colts with a .446 batting average while adding one home run, 18 RBIs, and 13 extra-base hits. As a pitcher, he recorded two victories and finished with a 2.66 ERA across eight appearances. CSHS went 15-9 this season and also reached the District Final before competing in Regionals
