Former Marjory Stoneman Douglas football player Calvin Jackson Jr.

Former Coral Springs Charter wide receiver Calvin Jackson Jr. is set to return home and play for the Miami Dolphins.
Jackson was signed to the practice squad on Tuesday and will play for the team his father, Calvin Jackson Sr., did for from 1994-1999.
The younger Jackson was a 2016 graduate from CSC and played two years of JUCO at Independence Community College in Kansas before shining with Washington State.
He began his NFL career with the New York Jets, signing as an undrafted free agent. After playing in the preseason with them and scoring a pair of game-winning touchdowns, Jackson was cut, allowing him to sign on with any team.
Jackson starts practicing with the Dolphins and looks to make his way onto the 53-man roster.
The Dolphins, who are 4-3 this year, have an extremely talented receding core highlighted by Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Cedrick Wilson Jr, Trent Sherfield, River Cracraft, and Erik Ezukanma are the four other wide receivers on the depth chart.
