
The Coral Glades cheerleading team honored 19 seniors. {David Volz}
The Coral Glades High School cheerleading team honored its 19 seniors during the Nova High School football game on October 24.
Many seniors have been cheering for the Jaguars for four years, and some have been on cheerleading teams for most of their lives.
Alysa Onofre, one of the team captains, has cheered on the Jaguars for four years was part of the Coral Springs Chargers (youth football) cheerleading team before that. “I love the energy we bring to games and all the friends I have made on the team over the years,” she said.
Isabella Infante, a captain, said she enjoyed cheering at away games and leading school spirit. “Being on the team has been a great experience, and our team is a big family,” she said.
Coach Alison Madej said she will miss the seniors but knows all cheerleaders must move on. “We have had many good times together, and soon they will be graduating,” she said.
