The body of a male victim has been found in a Coral Springs canal near Ramblewood Drive today.
According to Sergeant Carla Kmiotek, an employee came out from behind T.J. Maxx business and discovered what appears to be a male facedown in a canal around the 1200 block of N. University Drive.
“It’s possibly an elderly male, however, due to the condition of the body we can’t confirm anything right now,” said Kmiotek.
According to her, there isn’t a missing person case open at this time.
The medical examiner is on the scene and the cause of death, as well as identification will be investigated.
