Following a traumatic night during which her ex-boyfriend raped her at gunpoint, a woman managed to flee, seeking assistance at the Coral Springs Police Department.
According to CSPD records, the suspect, later identified as Luckenson Lucien, 33, of Lauderhill, was later apprehended and arrested on multiple counts, including armed sexual battery, false imprisonment, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge.
According to a warrant issued for his arrest, the victim recounted to officers that on January 22, the ordeal began with her returning to her home located near the 3700 block of Terrapin Lane after dinner with a male friend.
In the early hours of January 23, the victim said that Lucien, who had been watching her movements through a Ring doorbell camera, texted her that he was coming over and arrived at her residence, visibly intoxicated and carrying a handgun.
What followed was a night of intimidation, violence, and sexual assault. The victim reported that Lucien hit her, causing visible injuries, and then proceeded to sexually assault her at gunpoint, forcing her to perform oral sex and later raping her.
Throughout the ordeal, Lucien used the threat of the gun to coerce and terrorize her, at one point even demonstrating its lethal potential by ejecting a live round and placing a pillowcase over the gun in an attempt to make it clear he would silence shots.
The victim’s statement detailed how Lucien maintained control over her through the night, culminating in repeated assaults spanning the entire night.
At one point, in an attempt to threaten that he was about to shoot her, she told deputies Lucien began a countdown, to which she pleaded ‘Please don’t shoot me,” and “Are you really going to take my son’s mother from him?”
The victim claims Lucien told her to ‘Shut the fuck up” before he continued the assaults.
After arguing with Lucien all night, the victim told officers once Lucien left her residence in the morning, believing they were once again dating, she left her home. She went to the Coral Springs Police Department to report the incident.
An investigation revealed that her claims were backed by evidence from her Ring doorbell and Lucien’s social media profiles, where he was seen brandishing a similar weapon.
Lucien faces multiple charges, including armed sexual battery, aggravated assault, simple battery, and false imprisonment.
On January 25, he was taken into custody and transported to the Broward County Main Jail where he is being held on no bond.
