The Parkridge Pumpkin Patch
By: Sharon Aron Baron
Typically, pumpkins aren’t widely produced in Florida, but it’s always fun to pretend to find the perfect pumpkin to pluck from a local patch.
Parkridge Church in Coral Springs wants you to pick up your pumpkins now until Halloween with proceeds going to a good cause: to help their youth group mission trip each year. This year, they will be heading to Nashville, TN to be part of a camp called Mfuge where students take part in a variety of mission opportunities which include ministry to children, as well as helping the homeless and refugees.
This year, there’s pumpkins of every size and shape to buy and there’s even a selfie station to take a photo of you and your bestie.
Hours are:
Monday – Friday: 3 p.m. – dusk
Saturday and Sunday – 10 a.m. – dusk
Trunk or Treat: Tuesday, October 31 from 6 – 8 p.m. Children go from car to car to get candy, play games etc. Free event.
