Coming off a superb second-place finish in the Big-8 Championship, the Coral Springs Charter girls volleyball team advanced to the District Final on Wednesday.
The Panthers defeated North Broward Prep. 25-7, 25-10, 25-12 after the Eagles advanced to the semifinals after beating Dreyfoos School of the Arts on Tuesday.
The win for CSC was their 17th of the season. Up next, the Panthers will play at Pompano Beach High school in the District Final on Friday, October 22 at 6 p.m.
This will be the second meeting between these two schools. CSC won the first matchup 3-0 on September 9, though Pompano Beach has won 11 matches this year.
