The Coral Glades softball team is now just a win away from a District Championship following their 15-2 win over Coral Springs High School.
This was the team’s 13th win of the season as they received five innings from Bianca Guerra. The sophomore struck out seven as Isa Vega drove in a team-high three runs.
Samantha Neils, MacKenzie Wolfe, Carmela Smith, Casie Kazanjian, and Bianca Sampaio all had RBI’s.
The Jaguars will play Monarch High School in the championship game, as they defeated J.P. Taravella in the other semifinal game. Monarch defeated Coral Glades 10-7 earlier this season but are only 8-14 this year.
First pitch is scheduled for Thursday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m.
