Coral Springs Charter officially held a signing day for their senior athletes on April 22.
While some students have been committed for most of the year, others recently made their college pick. Elijah McDonald committed at the end of March and officially signed to play soccer at the University of Gloucestershire in England. McDonald finished his senior season with seven goals, helping their Panthers achieve a pair of victories.
Alivia Taibl, Kate Maston, and Stephanie Basso have all been signed by the softball team. Taibl will attend Stetson University and has been on the varsity softball team since she was a freshman. She was a lifetime .337 hitter and has drove in 11 runs this year to help the Panthers make it back to the Regional Final.
Kate Maston is headed to Florida Gulf Coast University. After beginning high school playing baseball, Maston transitioned to softball and has hit six home runs in the last two years. Basso will play at Coastal Carolina University and has been on the varsity team since eighth grade. Along with being a tremendous catcher, Basso hit .338 with five home runs.
The baseball team had a pair of players sign with Jack Grasso signing with Weber International University and Dylan Stolov attending Hudson Valley Community College. These two players led the Panthers to a terrific regular season, as Grasso led the team with a .377 batting average. He also hit a home run and drove in 13 runs, while Stolov had an era of 1.50 in five appearances to help CSC make Regionals.
On the soccer field, Isabella Ruiz signed with Polk State College, while Kathryn Shaggy will play at Jacksonville University. Juhnyee See is signed with the United States Air Force Academy tennis team and shined again this year, winning another singles and doubles title.
Football star Collin Teschky signed off in March and will attend West Point Academy.
