The latest guidelines implemented by President Trump have Coral Springs restaurants making drastic changes during the outbreak of COVID-19.

Recommendations made on March 16 include avoiding social gatherings in groups of more than ten people, and eating or drinking in bars, restaurants, and food courts. For now, the suggestion was for the public to use the drive-thru, pickup, or delivery options.

Delivery Dudes is offering a no-contact delivery preference for those customers who want to eliminate interaction with the drivers “to buy us more time as a species.”

Latin Corner Bistro

Following Starbucks’ lead, Lady and the Mug is offering curbside delivery. They said to place an order online simply, call when you arrive, and they will run it out for you.

Red Ginger is offering free delivery to Coral Springs — and limited Parkland locations and is encouraging takeout.

On Monday, Mayor Scott Brook posted on Facebook, “What a day! Pizza Time takeout, get ready for me!”

Owners of The Cook & The Cork, Dena, and Keith Blauschild wrote that enjoying good food with the people they love is what they are all about. They are offering dining options, like a To-Go Online Store with a family value menu, including favorites and comfort-menu items that serve four people.

“We look forward to welcoming guests back in the future, want to continue serving great food and wine for all of our community,” they wrote.

Newly opened Family Bagels of Long Island is offering order pickup through their drive-thru window, initially slated to open in about a month.

Coral Springs Restaurants Offer Curbside and Delivery to Feed Hungry Residents

Not to be ignored, Basser’s Fine Wine & Craft Beer is offering free delivery on full mixed wine cases, or curbside pick up for smaller orders of wine and beer.

One of the first to take action, Falafel Bistro decided to offer free delivery and pickup options before other restaurants came on board. On Sunday, they wrote, “We have determined it is in the best interest of our community to temporarily suspend Falafel Bistro dine-in services to limit the social spreading of the coronavirus,” said the Cohens, “Keep calm and eat our hummus.”
