
BCAA All-Star Game. {BCAA}
After a tremendous winter sports season, top Coral Springs student-athletes played in the BCAA All-Star Game.
Soccer
Coral Springs High School had David Puello compete from the boys soccer team after they went 9-6-2 and scored one goal. Brandon Moll helped Coral Springs Charter win six games and competed, while Christian Wallace and Jonathan Herrera played for Coral Glades.
The Jaguars reached Regional as Wallace led the team with 11 goals, and Herrera added one. Julian Reyes competed for J.P. Taravella after they won three of their 12 games this past season
For the girls, Gabriella Stubblefield shined in net for the Coral Springs High School soccer team. The Colts went 5-12–1, while Marissa Micionni, Abby Foster, and Maria Rojas played for Coral Springs Charter. The Panthers won 14 games and qualified for Regionals before losing to Cardinal Gibbons High School in the District Tournament.
Coral Glades won five games and had Aryanna Marin selected after scoring a goal and an assist with the Jaguars. Layla Palmaz represented J.P. Taravella and had three assists while the teams won seven games.
Basketball
For basketball, Jordan Jordan Arriaga and Nico Novoa were the only players from Coral Springs and represented J.P. Taravella. Arriaga finished fourth with 9.4 points per game, while Novoa averaged three points and nearly four rebounds to help the Trojans win nine games.
The girls had Kamryn Smith and Trinity Dajuste compete from Coral Springs High School. These two players combined to average nearly 20 points and three steals per game to help the Colts finish 15-10 and make another run in Regionals.
Alina McGuire was selected from Coral Glades after the Jaguars won three games. She was the lone senior from the Jaguars, who will return nearly their entire team next season. WIllyana Jaques was picked from J.P. Taravella. They went 8-9 this year, with Jaques averaging three points and five rebounds this past season.
