Coral Glades officially had ten students sign their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college.
Four football players signed with DJ Pauling, Jonathan Puddie, Jonathan Hutsey, and Kervens Saint Juste.
Pauling, who will be attending St. Thomas University, played four years on varsity, helping the Jaguars to the State Playoffs for the first time in 2021. This past season, Pauling made 30 tackles and had five sacks.
Puddle will attend Saint Vincent University in Pennsylvania, Hutsey will play at Warner University, and Kervens Saint Juste will attend Webber International University.
The basketball team also has four players heading to college. John Acosta and Avionne Brooks are headed to St. Thomas University, with Dominic Smith heading to Palm Beach Prep after finishing third on the team in scoring.
Greyson Thomas is signed with Florida Memorial University after helping the Jaguars win their first District Championship in school history, with the team going 18-10.
In softball, Mackenzie Wolfe will be attending Indian River State College in Fort Pierce after playing 67 varsity games. She hit .393 with two home runs and 46 RBIs.
Ciara Gendron is going to be playing at Chestnut Hill in Pennsylvania. She hit .260 with the Jaguars with a homer run and 30 RBIs while winning five games on the mound with 118 strikeouts in 132.2 innings.
Both were vital contributors to the Jaguars’ run to Regionals.
The girls’ lacrosse team leading scorer, Haylie Premo, will attend St. Thomas University. She scored 29 goals and had 13 assists, with the Jaguars winning six games.
Tatiana Merino is the lone girls’ soccer player from Coral Glades that signed and is also attending St. Thomas University. Coral Glades won five games before falling to Marjory Stoneman Douglas in the District Tournament.
