Coral Glades featured a strong senior class this year and officially had 17 student-athletes sign to play at the collegiate level across multiple sports.
The boys basketball team was led by Kyler Theophile and Jamari Bolden following back-to-back District Titles. Theophile signed with Kennesaw State University after leading the Jaguars with 14.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Bolden is headed to Florida Memorial University after helping the team win 41 games over the past two seasons.
In softball, Haleigh Thomas, Addison Schwartzberg, Cameron Marques and Jordin Shurpin all signed to continue their careers after helping the Jaguars reach Regionals this season.
Thomas signed with Lynn University and pitched in 16 games this season, posting a 2.39 ERA with 68 strikeouts in 64.1 innings pitched. Schwartzberg is headed to Florida State College at Jacksonville after recording a .290 batting average.
Offensively, Marques signed with St. Thomas University after batting .385 during her senior season with seven doubles, one triple and 13 RBIs. A four-year varsity player, she also hit a home run during her junior season. Shurpin, who played two years on varsity, hit .300 as a junior and finished her high school career with 26 hits, two doubles and six RBIs. She signed with New College of Florida.
The baseball team featured Sebastian Duran signing with Young Harris College and Josh Ruiz choosing St. Thomas University. Duran played in 22 games as a senior, recording 15 hits, seven RBIs and six runs scored. Ruiz ranked sixth on the team in hitting with 15 hits, nine RBIs and one extra-base hit.
The lacrosse program also celebrated multiple signees. On the boys side, Zaffer Sharifeh and Nicholas Insua both signed with St. Thomas University. They are coming off a four-win season and have played three years on varsity. On the girls side, Alluera Buevas signed with Kennesaw State University. She played three varsity seasons and scored 94 career goals, including 42 during her senior season, while also adding 14 assists as the Jaguars finished 6-6.
In golf, Bianca Gibbs signed with Vassar College after becoming a two-time BCAA Champion. She shot a career-low 66, finished second in the district tournament twice, placed among the top competitors at Regionals and made two appearances at the state championship.
On the football field, Anthony Casseus signed with Stetson University. Coming off a 6-5 season, Casseus rushed for 421 yards and one touchdown, including a 70-yard run, while recording two games with over 100 rushing yards.
In soccer, Pablo Bedoya signed with Allegiant College while Logan Mir committed to Florida Memorial University. Both players anchored the Jaguars’ defense during a successful 2025 campaign in which Coral Glades advanced to the District Final and qualified for Regionals before facing top-seeded Christopher Columbus High School.
The track and field team featured Avery Evans, Jordan Blaise, and Olivia Chester all signing with St. Thomas University. Evans placed fourth at the District Championship in the 400 meters before finishing seventh at Regionals. He was also part of two relay teams that placed in the top seven at districts. Blaise competed on the 4×400 and 4×800 relay teams at districts, while Chester ran on the girls 4×400 relay team that placed seventh. She also finished 23rd in the 400 meters.
