On Wednesday, Coral Glades High School officially held its spring signing day, with 12 student-athletes making their commitment official.
Cory Paz: Softball
Corey Paz officially signed to play at St. Thomas University in Miami. In her year on the varsity softball team, Paz hit .390 and drove in 23 runs while the Jaguars won nine games this spring.
Laila Wooldridge: Volleyball
Laila Wooldridge is set to play college volleyball at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. In her two years on the varsity team, she helped the Jaguars win 15 games before falling to Marjory Stoneman Douglas in the District Tournament.
Bryan Etienne: Basketball
After leading the team with 17.4 points per game this past season for Coral Glades, Bryan Etienne signed to play at Marymount University. He scored a season-high 30 points against J.P. Taravella while the Jaguars won six games.
Viviana Paucarima: Basketball
Viviana Paucarima is signed to play at Theil College in Pennsylvania after finishing second on the team in points scored. In total, she played for three years on the varsity basketball team and scored 230 career points.
Victoria Fuentes: Soccer
Coral Glades soccer star Victoria Fuentes will play at Warner University in Lake Whales. The senior helped Coral Glades win seven games this past season and make a run to the District Final.
Jordan Lyons: Football
Jordan Lyons made a great impression on college coaches in his one season with Coral Glades. He is on the way to Warner University in Lake Wales after four years with Coral Glades.
Raoul Pierre: Football
After four years playing with Coral Glades, Raoul Pierre will also be playing at Warner University. The defensive back recorded 61 tackles, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.
Kendrick Cherrelus: Football
Kendrick Cherrelus officially signed to play at Aurora University in Illinois. In three games this season, the defender recorded eight tackles.
Courtney Bucknell: Football
Courtney Bucknell is the final player to sign with Warner College. He was a great defensive player and helped lead the way for the Jaguars’ running backs this year, which ran for 1,123 yards.
Jaden Wilson: Football
After committing in April, Jaden Wilson is officially signed to play at Lane College in Tennessee. He recorded 36 tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery in 16 games while the Jaguars reached the state playoffs for the first time in school history in 2021.
Joshua Guerin: Naval Academy
After committing to the United States Naval Academy, Joshua Geurin became the first Division one signee under Coach Thomas. The senior caught 27 passes for 359 yards and earned himself a spot in the Broward Country Atletic Association All-Star Game.
Roderic Johnson: Juniata College
Roderick Johnson made his commitment official by signing at Juniata College in Pennsylvania. He spent four years in the program, playing on the offensive line, where he blocked for quarterback Dylan Knaebel.
